Our Events
One of the objectives of the Boulder Creek Chapter of the Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries is to bring special events to our community.  Annually, our friends chapter brings two summer events to Boulder Creek; Shakespeare to Go and the San Lorenzo Valley Community Band. Additionally, the Boulder Creek Branch has had an entry in the annual 4th of July Parade in downtown Boulder Creek. This year our Bookworm Brigade took first prize for our originality, and enthusiasm. Please check back for new events or send us an email to get our on newsletter distribution. We are excited to be part of The Big Read project, which has been funded by a National Endowment for the Arts Grant. The focus this year is Edgar Allen Poe and his work will be celebrated with a series of events scheduled throughout the county from October 1 through November 3. Please go to www.santacruzreads.org to see a schedule of all events. Only events taking place at our branch are listed here! Don't miss this opportunity to explore the wonderful world of Poe!
